Responsibilities

Assist backend, frontend, and product teams in developing and launching innovative ad features on the TikTok app

Contribute to creating an engaging mobile ads experience by collaborating with design and product teams

Help design, implement, and optimize monetization features for iOS/Android applications, with a focus on performance

Write clean, maintainable code and help create clear documentation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Work closely with senior engineers, learn best practices, and contribute to the team’s goals

Required

Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Basic experience or strong interest in mobile app development (Android and/or iOS)

Familiarity with object-oriented programming and software system design

Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java/Kotlin (Android) or Swift/Objective-C (iOS)

Willingness to learn and understand large codebases

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team, with a curiosity for new technologies and problem-solving

Preferred

Interest in building consumer-facing or ads products

Solid knowledge of Android architecture refactoring or iOS performance optimization

A desire to learn and improve client-side performance and user experience
