Responsibilities

Responsible for the administrative management, support, and functioning of the cancer conference and disease management team meetings
Maintains the responsibility of planning, communicating, interacting and collaborating with medical team, healthcare professionals and leadership

Qualification

Microsoft OfficeMedical record interpretationMedical terminologyHuman anatomyCommunication skillsCollaboration skillsSelf-starter

Required

High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certification of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required
Ability to interpret components of the medical record needed, including pathology, radiology, history and physical, operative and/or discharge reports
Must be familiar with confidentiality requirements and be able to maintain privacy of patient data
Good oral and written communication skills needed
Must be comfortable interacting and collaborating with physicians and health care professionals
Needs to be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year

Preferred

Associates degree preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office including excel, word and PowerPoint
Prefer coursework or equivalent experience in medical terminology and human anatomy and physiology
