Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain middleware platforms like WebSphere, Liberty , JBoss, Apache tomcat
Automate regular tasks using scripting Shell , Jython Python
Monitor and optimize middleware performance, availability, and scalability
Implement security policies and ensure compliance across middleware components
Troubleshoot and resolve middleware-related issues in production and non-production environments
Install, configure, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server WAS and related products like WAS Base Liberty IHS Jboss
Strong Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere App server V8.5.x, 9.0.x Liberty 24.x,25.x JBoss 7.4.x, JDK Versions
Manage and automate the deployments using the IBM Urban Code Deploy UCD Maintain UCD components
Troubleshoot the deployment and runtime issues related to WAS & Liberty applications
Monitor server & JVM performance and application logs and perform root cause analysis and tuning
Troubleshoot environment and application-related issues and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams
Apply security patches and upgrades as necessary to maintain system security and compliance
Implement the SSL certificate installs in middleware layer and troubleshoot the access or OKTA Authentication issues
Good Experience in Puppet tools to run the patching scripts or Schedule the Restart Jobs
Qualification
Required
