Responsibilities
Prepare detailed technical engineering reports
Prepare or modify plans, specifications, construction schedules, permits, and cost and quantity estimates for public works projects
Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction
Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule
Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Preferred
Minimum 10 years of civil engineering design experience preferred/desired
Iowa PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred
Previous roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection sewers and water distribution design experience desired
