Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of their Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore Arundel Mills property. In this role, you will lead the engineering team, maintain equipment and facilities, and ensure guest satisfaction through effective maintenance and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Keep every room and public space in tip-top shape—sparkling, shiny, and up to company standards!
Lead, train, and cheer on the engineering squad, scheduling shifts and inspiring top performance
Run fire safety inspections and epic drills, making sure everyone stays safe and sound
Jump to the rescue for maintenance requests and boost those rave-worthy guest service scores!
Patrol the grounds, tackle debris, sort out the 'Lost and Found,' and keep everything glowing
Access sensitive areas and represent the company with trust and sound judgment, every day

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
5+ years hotel/related experience, or 2-year degree with 3+ years, or 4-year degree with 2+ years
Supervisory experience required
Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical)
Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws
Valid driver's license
Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Calm under pressure
Financial and arithmetic proficiency
