Test Technician

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and calibrate avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components
Repair EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables
Repair amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits
Work with rectifiers and controllers circuitry
Troubleshot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate
Use schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits
Looked BOM’s to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock
Understand and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access)
Qualification
Required
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Experience working as a test technician in a manufacturing environment
U.S. Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a strong safety focus, and the ability to multi-tasks, set priorities, and adapt to change
Flexible and motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment
