Regional Business Development Executive
LJB Inc. is a national engineering firm focused on enhancing client experiences and building partnerships. They are seeking a dynamic Regional Business Development Executive to generate leads, expand existing business, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets within the safety practice.

Responsibilities
Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, inbound assignments, networking, and leveraging industry contacts
Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present overall company value proposition
Drive business growth by expanding relationships with existing accounts and identifying new revenue opportunities
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals that align with client needs
Identify top volume target accounts and develop an account roadmap based on regional offices and key decision makers relative to corporate office
Track market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business development strategies
Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, industry partners, and other key stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Attend local industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a circle of influence and stay informed about industry trends
Actively participate in professional organizations and community groups to enhance the company's visibility and reputation
Develop and maintain a network of contacts within strategic industries
Meet or exceed annual assigned sales target
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in business development, selling professional services experience desired
Strong ability to lead a comprehensive value proposition presentation of all LJB service offerings
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business within a target market and/or assigned territory
Experience In a cross-selling sales environment demonstrating results
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools
Ability to travel overnight up to 40%
Preferred
Basic understanding of structural, infrastructure, or safety engineering preferred
Experience selling fall protection, engineering services or prior data center experience would be a plus
