Responsibilities

Provide support and assistance in the management and operations of program related network systems
Providing system administration of Network, Web, and/or communication systems including Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems involving network security
Preparing technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions
Performing the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based
Optimizing system operation and resource utilization
Performing system capacity analysis and planning; and
Experience using any, or all, of the following tools: Checkmarx, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket
Update, monitor, and manage information in systems for the program office
Serve as the first point of contact for resolving or escalating issues relating to hardware, software, network, and other issues of computer end users
Strong experience with CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies with Jenkins
Troubleshoot user identified deficiencies; validate developer delivered deficiency corrections
Provide hands-on support of the operationally fielded LOGFAC instances supporting test, and production residing in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud in IL4 and IL6
Collaborate with development team to implement infrastructure requirements and resolve issues
Configured security group for EC2 Window and Linux instances
Monitor system performance and optimize system operations and resource utilization
Deploy terraform images to IL6 using Jenkins CI/CD pipeline
Experience working with Linux OS (Red Hat), file locations, maneuvering through Linux based directory file structures
Upgrade servers with the latest releases of software packages/patches and RPM packages on Linux servers
Perform database-specific monitoring of processes, file changes, and distributed database links
Manage AWS EC2 instances as required
Process LOGFAC weekly and annual Interface files using Linux, AWS S3 and SQL Developer in IL6
Perform application monitoring and rotate SSL certificates as required
Create, unlock and remove user accounts as required
Provide support for preparation of technical implementation plans for emerging LOGFAC releases
Serve as the first point of contact for resolving or escalating issues relating to hardware, software, network and other issues end user’s experience
Aid users in accessing and using the LOGFAC application
Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience with EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, CLI, Load Balancer, Bastion Host and IAM

Required

U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD OR
Seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoD
CompTIA Security+ Certification (or higher)
Must have and maintain a Secret level security clearance
