Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical field explorations and oversee laboratory testing
Analyze and interpret field and laboratory data to provide sound geotechnical recommendations
Prepare and review detailed geotechnical reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, and residential projects
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout project lifecycles, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Manage geotechnical projects, including proposal development, project execution, and report delivery
Coordinate field activities with drill crews, including scheduling and sampling logistics
Conduct field work as necessary to ensure accurate data collection and quality control
Utilize engineering software (e.g., gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel) for analysis and reporting

Licensed Professional EngineerGeotechnical software proficiencyGeotechnical engineering experienceCivil Engineering degreeClient communicationMicrosoft Office SuiteProject management

Required

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Kentucky
Minimum of 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
Proficient in industry-standard geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred

Master's in Civil Engineering
