Vice President, Business Development | Technology Clients
Delectus Partners is partnering with a global market intelligence firm to hire a VP of Business Development focused on their Enterprise Technology practice. This role involves building a high-performing sales team, engaging with C-suite executives, and driving revenue through strategic selling.
Responsibilities
Drive new revenue by identifying and closing opportunities with large Enterprise Technology clients
Build and manage relationships with senior executives at major tech firms
Oversee client renewals, cross-selling, and account expansion
Recruit and develop junior sales talent in an apprenticeship model
Partner with solutions and account management teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
Qualification
Required
5-8+ years in consultative B2B sales, ideally selling to Enterprise Technology clients
Proven track record in managing performance to quota and exceeding targets
Experience navigating complex sales cycles with Legal/Procurement teams
Background managing and developing junior sales staff (BDAs, SDRs)
Understanding of what matters to Enterprise Tech buyers - product development, competitive intelligence, market insights
Preferred
Candidates from market research and advisory firms
B2B data and intelligence platforms
Enterprise SaaS sales organisations with experience selling to major technology companies
