The successful candidate will conduct various environmental assessments and manage project scope, budgets, and schedules while performing fieldwork activities and preparing environmental proposals and reports.

Responsibilities
Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Endangerment Assessments (PEAs), Removal Action Workplans (RAWs) and Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), and Risk Assessments
Schedule field work and subcontractors
Perform fieldwork activities, including drilling supervision, logging of borings, test pits, trenches and cores; evaluating geologic and hydrogeologic conditions; and sampling soil, soil gas, and groundwater
Prepare environmental proposals and reports
Manage project scope, budgets and schedules
Qualification
Required
B.S. Degree in Environmental Sciences, Geology or Civil Engineering
5-10 years experience performing all or most of the duties listed in the job description
Local experience and familiarity with the local geologic practice
Strong knowledge of local, state and federal regulations
Familiar with permitting acquisition
Experience performing site assessment and soil and groundwater remediation activities
Experience with system operation and maintenance
Team player
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
M.S. Degree in Environmental Sciences, Geology or Civil Engineering
