Responsibilities
Drive image quality improvements through data acquisition optimization, hardware refinement, and advanced calibration strategies
Investigate and propose innovative concepts for next-generation imaging and inspection capabilities
Lead system-level qualification and integration for advanced SEM platforms
Conduct root cause analysis and guide corrective actions for imaging performance issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in optics, electronics, and software to achieve tool performance goals
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of image processing, signal analysis, and system optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of innovation
Effective communicator able to share technical information with functional groups and provide executive-level reports to management and customers
Experience with control systems, hardware/software integration, and algorithm development
Experience defining work plans, DOEs, and test strategies
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
Preferred
Proficient in MATLAB or Python for data analysis and experimentation
Familiarity with SEM calibration techniques and image quality metrics
Industry experience in one or more of the following: Research and development of complex imaging systems
Optical or electro-optical inspection tools
System engineering or integration
Semiconductor industry
