Senior Site Manager, Data Center Operations
Google is a leader in technology and innovation, and they are seeking a Senior Site Manager for Data Center Operations. This role involves overseeing compliance activities, monitoring operations, and developing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in data center management.

Responsibilities
Direct efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally. Ensure regional and global teams are complying with project/schedule guidelines and Google design standards
Oversee efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and to ensure effective response to any excursions
Oversee efforts to ensure all sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally while exhibiting strength in improvement to said policies and programs
Oversee the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at a site, along with driving site-level development of programs and initiatives
Incorporate domain expertise and experience to deliver an improved data center design to optimize equipment and operations for next generation data centers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
12 years of experience managing technical teams in charge of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure and components
3 years of experience in developing and managing managers
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards
Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
