The ideal professional will support active litigation matters, requiring strong Ohio court filing experience and preferred personal injury experience.

Responsibilities
Own court filings in Ohio courts (state and local): e-filing/physical filing, service, and confirmation of acceptance; maintain proof of service
Prepare and file short-form pleadings and discovery-related documents (e.g., deposition notices, routine motions, initial disclosures)
Calendar deadlines from court orders; support basic docketing and case tracking
Coordinate and schedule depositions, court reporters, and interpreters; manage related notices and exhibits
Assist with discovery (requests, responses, simple summaries, Bates labeling)
Communicate directly with clients, attorneys, and court personnel to keep cases moving
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated Ohio court filing experience (e-filing portals, local rules, service requirements)
2+ years as a paralegal or legal assistant in litigation
Ability to operate independently with minimal training and manage multiple matters
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and clear written/verbal communication
Preferred
Prior personal injury litigation exposure (plaintiff-side a plus)
Experience with Clio is a plus (not required)
