Responsibilities
Provide 24×7 operational support for Snowflake‑based data platforms, participating in on‑call rotations
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues via Major Incident Management (MIM) calls, escalating and engaging with the right teams
Raise, track and drive resolution of technical support incidents in collaboration with application development, infrastructure and vendor teams
Maintain and update runbooks and knowledge‑base articles to ensure all procedures and configurations are current
Support audit and compliance requests by delivering timely, accurate documentation, and evidence
Participated in planned and unplanned Disaster Recovery (DR) and regional failover events, executing recovery tasks and collecting post‑mortem data
Qualification
Required
6+ years of IT experience focused on cloud data platforms, compute/storage/network architecture, and operations
Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and optimization in AWS (preferred) or other cloud environments
Proficiency with Linux, Python, SQL and ETL/Scheduler tools; experience with Terraform (or similar IaC) and operating in regulated environments
Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Sigma and Looker
Experience supporting enterprise-level applications, monitoring/alerting tools, dashboards and escalation processes
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing and operational transparency
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and optimization in AWS (preferred) or other cloud environments
