Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of Senior Engineers in the development of manufacturing processes for composite hardware
Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact
Design and develop mold tooling
Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned
Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company
Develop, author and follow technical plans to meet desired manufacturing objectives
Meet quality system requirements for Aerospace applications
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Maintain currency and compliance with GE policies, procedures and directives, including vouchering, reporting, operating, environmental and safety practices

Required

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma with 4 years of manufacturing experience)
Minimum of 1 years of manufacturing experience
Must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

Preferred

Previous experience in composites manufacturing (i.e.: Braiding technology, Ply shape development, Resin Injection Molding, Autoclave and/or press curing)
Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP)
Prior experience in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred)
