Responsibilities
Work on cutting edge innovations in real-time communications space, help shape global network to be real-time traffic friendly, develop highly available, scalable and reliable services, and bring new exciting scenarios to millions of users worldwide
Have the opportunities to use the latest Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Machine Learning to build predictive models to optimize Network and Compute performance
Participate in on-call rotation to help resolve outages, customer issues and develop ways to prevent future incidents
Analyze telemetry and monitoring to gain insight and improve reliability and performance for our millions of customers around the world
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience
4+ years of industry software development experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Experience working with large data sets, performing data analysis and generating ML models based on that data
Experience building highly available cloud services
Experience working on platforms that supported millions of users
Knowledge of communications protocols like HTTP, SDP, Offer Answer
Experience with web services, especially container technologies like Kubernetes
