Start in 2026 SummerOTTO Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated summer intern to assist in designing and building AI-powered tools for sales and customer service. The Applied AI Intern - Controls will work on defining, developing, and testing intelligent systems, collaborating with various departments to integrate these tools into existing systems.

Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to understand problems and define AI-enabled solutions
Help build AI workflows and get to see your efforts rolled out live on our website
Build web interfaces or dashboards where needed (internal tools or customer-facing apps)
Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and IT to integrate tools with existing systems (e.g., ERP)
Document your work and present outcomes to company leadership at the end of the internship
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar
Experience working with APIs, databases, or ERP integration (or a strong desire to learn)
Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to solve real-world business problems using technology
Preferred
Familiarity with OpenAI, LLMs, or conversational AI frameworks is a plus
