Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and workflows to streamline product development
Architect and develop solutions that overcome technical limitations, ensuring scalable and reliable deployment processes
Lead migration and management of DevOps tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
Support embedded software development activities
Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
Identify gaps in current processes, recommend improvements, and execute solutions to boost efficiency
Collaborate across multiple projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and technologies
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, collaborate to resolve issues and implement corrective action
Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making

Required

B.S / M.S. in computer science, math, computer engineering, electrical engineering or an engineering field or equivalent work experience
Strong experience with modern DevOps tools, including CI/CD, infrastructure management, project management, logging, and compliance security scanning
Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making
Robust experience with C, Python, Bash
Proven ability to architect and implement pipelines, workflows, and software systems
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently without minimal supervision
Excellent team leader with strong collaboration skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders and management effectively
Capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Experience with a variety of languages and frameworks, demonstrating versatility and technical breadth
Comfortable with rapidly learning and adapting to new languages, frameworks, and technologies as needed, showcasing strong learning agility
Strong operating system experience such as Linux, QNX, or other Unix-like systems
Ability to identify gaps in processes and articulate improvements to tools and processes to address

Preferred

Experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
