Responsibilities

Serve as the day-to-day leader for key strategic project initiatives within the Cards portfolio, ensuring project strategy is executed to maximize market impact
Drive end-to-end management of strategic projects, from ideation through execution, partnering closely with cross-functional teams including benefits, rewards, legal, compliance, and external partners
Develop and refine individual benefits, overall value propositions, marketing claims, and key reasons-to-believe (RTBs) for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall Sapphire product strategy
Collaborate with Commerce partners in Dining, Travel, and Shopping to define and deliver exclusive offers and experiences for strategic project workstreams
Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform the direction and prioritization of strategic projects
Analyze P&L dynamics, customer feedback, and behavioral data to guide decision-making and optimize project outcomes
Lead cross-functional working teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver on ambitious project timelines and objectives
Prepare and present comprehensive project updates, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and other key stakeholders
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of strategic project work

Required

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in product strategy or product development, preferably within the credit card or payments industry
Demonstrated success managing complex, high-priority, or confidential projects in a matrixed organization
Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of customer insights, P&L dynamics, and data-driven decision-making
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build executive-level presentations and present to executive audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Preferred

Experience within the credit card or payments industry is strongly preferred
Familiarity with analyzing P&L dynamics, customer feedback, and behavioral data to guide decision-making and optimize project outcomes
