Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all laboratory activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations
Create test methods by reverse engineering health and beauty products to create the base formula
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflows and ensure consistency
Collaborate with scientists and engineers on experimental design, data collection, and process improvements
Mentor junior scientists in formulation development
Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and technology upgrades
Maintain accurate records of experiments, equipment logs, and compliance documentation; prepare reports for senior management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a project management role
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
Proficiency in Office 365 and other software preferred
