Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer
Eaton’s Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their team in Raleigh, NC. This role involves developing, testing, and releasing embedded software for new product development, collaborating with global teams to support the launch of products for critical loads such as data centers.

Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 4 years of work experience in real-time Firmware/Embedded software Development for three-phase power electronics
Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 2 years of work experience in real-time Embedded software Development for three-phase power electronics

Preferred
Design experience with power electronic products
Experience in embedded firmware development and programming in C/C++
Experience developing digital controls and algorithms for AC and DC power conversion
Experience using Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation
Experience with FPGA-based implementation of digital control algorithms and PWM modulation techniques
Familiarity with integrating FPGA designs with microcontrollers or DSPs in mixed-signal embedded systems
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot analog and digital control circuitry
Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS)
