Responsibilities

Lead daily and monthly P&L and balance-sheet reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy across multiple products and legal entities
Deliver clear, insightful commentary on P&L drivers and business performance to senior stakeholders
Act as the primary liaison for front-office inquiries, providing timely and well-supported responses
Oversee end-to-end front-to-back reconciliation workflows and drive enhancements to reduce breaks and improve operational efficiency
Own month-end close activities, including general ledger substantiation and variance analysis
Monitor financial activity across several entities to ensure proper booking, alignment, and reporting
Partner daily with regulatory reporting, treasury, operations, corporate control, technology, and market risk teams
Enhance the analytical environment through improved attributed P&L explains, tooling, and derivative-related analysis
Support ongoing initiatives to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and strengthen oversight frameworks

Required

Experience in product control within commercial real estate or structured products
Strong understanding of P&L and balance-sheet reconciliation processes
Ability to deliver clear and insightful commentary on P&L drivers and business performance
Experience acting as a liaison for front-office inquiries
Proven track record of overseeing reconciliation workflows and driving operational efficiency
Experience with month-end close activities, including general ledger substantiation and variance analysis
Ability to monitor financial activity across multiple entities
Experience partnering with regulatory reporting, treasury, operations, corporate control, technology, and market risk teams
Strong analytical skills with experience in improving P&L explanations and derivative-related analysis
Experience supporting initiatives to streamline processes and improve data integrity
