Responsibilities

Handles duties related to vehicle registration by registering and transferring titles for motor vehicles
Collects State and County taxes and fees
Handles applications for renewals, disabled placards, replacement plates, and specialized plates
Maintains records, reports and files
Sorts and processes mail
Performs related duties as required

Qualification

Typing 35 WPMBasic office processesRecord maintenanceCustomer service skills

Required

Knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes
Level of education equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency
Ability to pass a typing test at the rate of at least 35 words a minute
No experience necessary
Possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
