Fleet Services Manager

Responsibilities

Exercise delegated managerial authority to set a series of annual and longer-range work plans and schedules
Make major recommendations and decisions related to the resources to devote to particular programs or program elements
Plan for long-range staffing needs
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work
Make selections for subordinate nonsupervisory positions
Find and implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building, improve business practices, or increase the quality of the work directed
Oversee the development of systems and processes to manage life-cycle costs and vehicle utilization rates
Advise Executive-level leadership on Fleet Management program, policy, operations, and asset management issues

Required

You must be a United States Citizen

A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service
Specialized experience is defined as: Experience leading a project or team or serving as a technical expert in: Planning and overseeing mobile equipment/fleet lifecycle management, including acquisition, maintenance, repair, replacement, and retirement
