Home Health Aide (HHA)
Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. The Home Health Aide (HHA) will provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes, ensuring compliance with physician established care plans.

Responsibilities
Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record
Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies
Performs patient assessments, coordination of care
Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home
Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one
Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients
Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs
Qualification
Required
Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test
Good interpersonal skills
Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients
Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Preferred
Experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred
