Responsibilities
Process incoming Medicaid claims in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines
Verify that all required data fields are present and that necessary medical records are included and reviewed when required
Refer claims for medical claim review when appropriate
Work effectively in a virtual, work-from-home environment while accurately processing claims
Qualification
Required
2+ years of recent health insurance claims processing experience
Ability to maintain balanced performance across production and quality
Ability to uphold confidentiality and present a professional business image
Positive attitude, strong reliability, and the ability to work independently from home while collaborating well with a team
Preferred
Prior experience processing Medicaid claims highly preferred but not required
Prior work-from-home experience
IDX system experience
AHCCCS system experience
Experience with Citrix, Siebel, HPIS, DataNet, Excel, and SharePoint
