Responsibilities

Administrative oversight of all assigned staff
Oversight of hiring and staff schedules to provide adequate manpower in all areas of the department
Completes performance evaluations and performance management memo’s in a timely manner
Oversees capital and operating budgets, supplies, and equipment acquisition and maintenance
Develops and updates policies and procedures for the department
Liaison between Radiologists, Healthcare Providers, Administration and staff
Participate in hospital committees as requested

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Required
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) BS Degree or higher in Healthcare Administration or Radiological Sciences Required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (United States of America) Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid - American Heart Association within 60 Days Required
Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 180 Days Required
Permit to practice from the IHHA is required within 60 days of hire

Preferred

Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) In relatable Healthcare Field Preferred
1-3 years Previous experience in a leadership position Preferred
1-3 years Health care experience within the last five years Preferred
Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 180 Days Preferred
Nuclear Medicine Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (United States of America) Preferred
