Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of various insurance carriers’ standards and guidelines when processing claims
Print, prepare, and send requests for claims forms, medical records, and other correspondence
Accurately enter new claims into the claims database
Monitor the progress of open claims, performing timely follow-ups on outstanding documents
Carefully review documents to confirm completeness and distinguish between original and copy submissions
Research and resolve return mail issues promptly. Navigate and work efficiently across multiple computer systems
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic understanding of life insurance concepts
Proficiency with email (Outlook), database research, and accurate data entry/keyboard skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet competing deadlines effectively
