Responsibilities

Detect & Investigate App Defects: Monitor alerts, telemetry, and user feedback to identify, validate, and triage defects. Document findings and communicate severity and impact to technical stakeholders
Support Pre-Release Quality: Participate in testing cycles, confirm that high-priority issues are resolved, and ensure releases meet readiness and sign-off requirements
Enable Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to provide detailed context, reproducible examples, and clear escalation paths to speed up root-cause resolution
Use AI Tools to Increase Efficiency: Apply platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and other automation solutions to summarize defect patterns, streamline communication, and accelerate log and telemetry analysis
Maintain Operational & Jira Hygiene: Create and update defect tickets with clarity and completeness. Promote best practices and support team members in maintaining accurate documentation
Report & Communicate: Produce summaries of defect trends, risks, and progress. Deliver clear, actionable updates to leadership using AI-assisted reporting methods
Review Features & Assess Launch Risks: Participate in feature reviews, identify operational or stability risks, and ensure new features launch with the right safeguards in place

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area
4+ years in platform operations, product operations, QA/UAT coordination, mobile app release management, or consumer technology support
Ability to interpret structured and unstructured signals including logs, dashboards, telemetry, and user-reported issues
Hands-on experience with defect management workflows and tools (e.g., Jira, AirTable, TechPod) and comfort using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical symptoms into clear operational insights for senior audiences
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence Engineering, Product, and Support teams
Knowledge of mobile app behavior across iOS and Android, feature flag systems, and release and rollout cycles—ideally within gig, delivery, logistics, or mobility platforms
