Responsibilities

Consistently plan, execute, and manage profitable engineering focused projects

Serve as primary client interface for tactical and logistical communications on projects, developing rapport and trust

Plan work by:

Working with Project Director to define scope based on client needs and corresponding deliverables

Creating work-based project plans and schedules

Mapping out resource requirements, liaising with internal resourcing function and updating resource management tools

Track work

Understand technical challenges

Be able to align budgets and time line

Be able to understand technical complexity and project it in to time lines and budgets to identify possible future bottleneck or issues

Proactive calendar management, scheduling meetings with appropriate stakeholders, sending agenda items and/or follow-ups as appropriate to keep projects on track

Consistently monitor and report upon project progress and budget usage

Facilitate regular status meetings with internal and client teams and maintain periodic status reports

Manage changes to scope, budget and time frame with honest, accurate and composed communications

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant domain preferred e.g. mechanical, software, electronics or electrical engineering

2+ years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 1 year focused on delivering engineering projects that have gone through to manufacturing

Full understanding of the physical product development process with a focus on complex technology components

Strong attention to detail managing project logistics, client communication, and budgets

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities

Proficiency with project management and communication tools
