Responsibilities

Advising Private Credit professionals on the structuring, negotiation and execution of financing transactions, taking into account legal, regulatory, reputational and compliance issues
Managing outside counsel and overseeing legal due diligence
Handling transaction-related fund and fiduciary issues
Coordinating with other control-side areas

Commercial lending experiencePrivate credit experienceBankruptcy experienceLegal due diligenceInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

5-7 years' relevant experience working in a leading law firm, financial institution or asset manager
Strong commercial lending experience is required, with experience in private credit/direct lending preferred
Experience with private funds and BDCs as well as with bankruptcies/restructurings is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate ideas and develop stakeholder relationships
