Responsibilities
Billing Management: Oversee the entire reimbursement process for home infusion services, including handling complex claims and ensuring timely and accurate billing procedures
Claims Resolution: Address and resolve any claim issues, ensuring that they are processed in compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and external payors to streamline billing processes and optimize revenue outcomes
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulatory changes to ensure all claims are compliant with HIPAA and other relevant laws
Revenue Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve service goals and improve overall financial performance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of home infusion billing experience
At least 1 year of recent/current experience in the home infusion space
Solid understanding of Front-End Billing, specifically in creating infusion claims for medical payors (not RX payors/NCPP)
2 years of experience maintaining HIPAA standards and ensuring confidentiality
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) and comfortable working with billing software
Excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Must be motivated, have critical thinking skills, and take ownership of responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
Preferred
A solid understanding of home infusion processes and billing routines
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance metrics
Experience with collections is a plus, but not required
