3+ years expFEMA Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Professional for the role of Systems Administrator. The primary responsibilities include implementing systems improvements, coordinating testing and delivery of solutions, and maintaining Windows systems and servers.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Identify and implement systems and process improvements that improve overall performance and technical efficiencies
Responsible for coordinating the testing and delivery of solutions for release cycles and/or new projects
Proficient in technical solutions and able to provide escalated support when needed
In-depth understanding of business processes and operational procedures within the commercial business to assist in decision making and process improvement objectives
Drives collaboration with IT counterparts on system enhancements and reported incidents
Accountable for timely and accurate delivery of solutions
Installing and upgrading Windows systems and servers
Able to install and maintain firewalls and network equipment
Monitoring and maintaining file servers
Troubleshooting server errors and reviewing event/error logs
Create, maintain, and verify backups ensuring system integrity
Maintain and monitor Windows security updates and anti-virus systems
Management of VMWare vSphere based infrastructure
Maintain and support cloud-based systems, including Microsoft 365 in a hybrid environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area in addition to at least 3 years of work experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
Ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work
Detailed knowledge of Windows Server setup, deployment, and maintenance
Detailed knowledge of Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP, and DNS
Familiar with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365
Familiar with RBAC and DFS concepts
Ability to create scripts and automate tasks in PowerShell
Familiarity with programming languages – C#, VB, .NET
Proficiency in VMWare vSphere and vSAN
Experience with Veeam and Arcserve backup technologies
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interface directly with all levels of an organization
Preferred
Experience with the Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Cisco certifications a plus
