Legal Assistant
McCabe, Weisberg & Conway, LLC is a high volume, fast-paced law firm with over 40 years of experience in Real Estate Law. They are seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant to perform specific responsibilities in a legal setting under the supervision of the Foreclosure Manager and Managing Attorney.

Responsibilities
Previous Litigation Experience required
Legal file reviews and document validations
File management to ensure court deadline are met
Drafting of legal documents
Client interaction
Client communication
Legal research on legal matter such as complaints, cases, statutes and regulations
Calculating of fees
Assisting with projects/assignments from Attorneys
Qualification
Required
Previous Litigation Experience required
High school diploma required
Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet client deadlines
Strong word processing and proof reading skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to work independently and take initiative as appropriate
Ability to adapt to change
Passing of our background, drug test and credit check is a requirement for hire
Preferred
Previous experience in a law firm, title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking is a plus, but not required
Previous administrative experience, preferably in a similar environment
Experience with data entry, proofreading and editing documents
