Responsibilities

Provide quality engineering support for the design, assembly and integration of a variety of opto-mechanical and electrical assemblies

Write program quality plans including inspection planning and program compliance plans

Hands on program quality leader with responsibility for resolving technical challenges, ensuring successful tactical execution

Work closely with the program teams and the functional organizations in a Space Flight environment to ensure that all phases of the customer life cycle, meet the requirements for mission success

Facilitate and presenting formal MRB / RCCA packages to internal and external customers as well as senior leadership

Perform design reviews and facilitate design and quality concurrent Engineering

Verify subcontractor inspection or technical document preparation procedures to verify compliance with contract requirements

Lead and participate in APQP activities including PFMEA’s on programs
