Responsibilities
Leads timely and accurate cash flow testing and asset adequacy analysis
Monitors developments in the actuarial industry and remains current on applicable regulatory and accounting matters and best practices
Collaborates with Corporate Actuarial Team (valuation, model, FP&A and assumptions) and other teams (e.g., Investment, ROA, Product and Pricing) to share results and influence/support optimized business strategy development
Leads a diverse team of employees with responsibility for managing the employee life cycle and experience, including but not limited to, selection and retention of talent, continuous feedback and performance management, reward and recognition, corrective action and employee development
Collaborates with Investments team to model and validate asset cash flows and market values from MG-ALFA
Provides subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on cash flow testing framework
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related field
10+ years of progressive actuarial experience, including asset adequacy analysis
Prior experience with MG-ALFA or similar actuarial software
FSA, MAAA or ASA, MAAA required
Deep knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and ASOPs
Proficiency in modeling fixed indexed annuities under various jurisdictions (e.g., Bermuda) and capital models
Strong understanding of reinsurance transactions and asset-liability modeling
Advanced analytical and statistical skills, including Excel modeling
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects and a team under tight deadlines
Strong communication skills to present technical concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders
Preferred
Prior experience leading cashflow testing
4+ years of leadership experience
