Value Added Services (VAS) Project Manager

The Value Added Services (VAS) Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing value-added projects, ensuring customer-specific service activities are delivered accurately and efficiently while acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
As an active member of the Company Sales Team, prospect the procurement of new value-added service projects/clients through joint calls, the collection of all necessary information, development of proposals, and the presentation to prospective customers
Lead end-to-end management of customer-driven VAS projects, including requirements gathering, scope definition, resource planning, scheduling, and execution
Monitor project progress to ensure tasks are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Work closely with our Company Sales Team to understand and document the scope of customer requested, value-add production projects. Obtain formal signoff verification from customer(s) confirming project scope
Serve as the Company’s primary customer contact for value added services
Aid in managing the relationships between Company, Customer and Contracted Service Provider(s)
Identify and outline resources required for successful project launches including, but not limited to: equipment and supplies, facility upgrades, staffing requirements, training requirements, and IT requirements
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and process flows that align with operational capabilities and customer expectations
Coordinate cross-functional teams including warehouse operations, quality control, procurement, logistics, and IT to ensure readiness and successful implementation
Manage project schedules and budgets
Coordinate training and implementation launch meetings with Operations, Customer Experience and vendor partners to align all teams and ensure successful project launch
Work to achieve seamless project launches that exceed customer expectations
Monitor and communicate deviations in ongoing project demand and forecasts and schedules making all parties aware of any variations to plan
Maintain regular communication with customer(s) including regularly scheduled calls to discuss project updates, challenges, additional project opportunities, etc
Foster and manage vendor-partner relationships and manage respective inventories, placing orders as necessary to maintain sufficient inventory
Complete formal Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) and Major Project Process (MAPP) documentation for value-add projects requiring significant Company investment
Participation in departmental and Company meetings as requested
Ensure certifications and compliance standards are up-to-date and participate in any audits related to value-added production processing
Work with Company Sales Team and Leadership to research, identify, and select new value-added services to supplement and enhance the Company portfolio
Occasional travel for training, customer visits, and/or vendor meetings
Position holder will agree to seek additional project management training when and where available
In all things, decisions and actions should conform to the standards and expectations laid out in the Cultural Keystones document and the Corporate Handbook

Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills both spoken and written
Ability to use data and observation to analyze, evaluate systems and solve problems
Detail oriented
Organized and structured
Computer Literacy – Demonstrable proficiency in Excel and Word along with the willingness/ability to understand and utilize InterChange's Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Flexible and adaptable – open to changes in schedules and responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
Open and available for additional training and education as determined necessary
Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical are required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Previous experience with sales, operations supervision, or project management/pricing
