Financial Operations Analyst Lead
WellSpan Health is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst Lead who will perform a wide variety of fiscal analysis and business counseling services. The role involves collaborating with Operations/Service Line leaders to support financial performance through guidance in budgeting, planning, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities
Oversees and provides financial guidance in support of the business operations and performance management for the Service Lines and Medical Group practices and/or Acute Care Operations assigned to the position with minimal supervision
Analyzes key financial metrics and KPIs to identify trends, assess performance and provide actionable insight for Operations Leadership
Provides financial guidance and support and collaborates with Operations Leadership in managing the revenue and expense functions within their areas of responsibility. Works with other corporate financial service departments and staff to assist with data analysis, reporting, budgeting and in-depth analysis of material financial performance variances
Develops understanding of Provider Compensation program in partnership with the Compensation team. Uses that knowledge to support Directors of Operations to be effective in their communication with Providers and management of their pay practices. Expectation is that Operations accurately compensates providers in compliance with policies
Collaborates with other department managers in supporting the operations of the Service Lines and Medical Group practices and/or Acute Care Operations. This includes leading Financial and Operational Meetings
Serves as a mentor to team members on the Operations Finance Team
Works with other team members on financial projects or process improvement initiatives for the organization, as appropriate
Provides financial orientation, training and education of both operations and finance department staff
Develops, prepares and presents capital and operating budgets for areas of oversight
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations
Coordinates and integrates services within the department/service line/entity, with other departments/service lines/entities, and with the System's primary functions. Participates in the selection of outside services (if needed)
Continuously assesses and improves work processes and develops standard work documentation. Supports effective roll out of that work and ensures compliance
Provides ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to Management as requested
Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
4 years Required
Minimum Field of Expertise: Healthcare or business administration
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
Able to accept responsibility
Able to work well in a team environment as a member and/or leader
Thorough knowledge of relevant specialty areas
Analytical and logical approach to solving problems
Has knowledge of the various reimbursement methodologies across all continuums of healthcare

Medical Group Practice knowledge preferred
