Capella Space, an IonQ company, builds trusted space systems for Earth intelligence. They are seeking an Infrastructure Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience managing Linux servers and supporting cloud environments while working closely with experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers across development and production environments

Assist in the management of cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting tools

Work with containers and virtualization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and VMs

Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement effective solutions

Document procedures, system configurations, and best practices for team knowledge sharing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and improvements

Required

Currently attending a degree program and available to work full time for 10 weeks outside of the university's academic term

In their penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship
