Responsibilities
UXO surface sweeps
UXO subsurface clearances
UXO avoidance
Supporting geophysical/UXO surveys
Prepare firing systems, both electric/non-electric, for demilitarization operations
Transport demolition materials and/or UXO and DMM determined to be safe over public traffic routes
Assist in the inspection of MPPEH for the presence of explosive hazards
Construct UXO-related protective works
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, regulators, project team members, and company management
This position requires 0 - 3 years of commercial UXO experience
Graduate of a formal course of instruction appropriate to this skill level
Must be able to perform all functions enumerated for UXO Sweep Personnel and UXO Technician
Must be in good physical health and be able to lift 50 pounds in order to perform field tasks
Preferred
Knowledge of Geonics EM61-MK2, Trimble GPS/PDA and CDL with hazmat endorsements is a plus
Computer knowledge with MS Windows
MS Excel
MS Project and PowerPoint a plus
BA of BS degree
