Responsibilities

Evaluate, select, specify, and review shop drawings for electrical systems and products for a project

Engage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats

Utilize technologies in development of three-dimensional models of electrical systems

Prepare and revise documentation in various phases of design and construction, including plans, single line diagrams, ladder control schematics, equipment layouts and details

Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors

Participate in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating

Prepare and coordinate the project specifications with construction documents

Conduct reviews required to assess field conditions

Conduct construction phase services, responds to RFIs, reviews shop drawings, and conducts reviews of construction for general conformance with design

Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering

Licensed professional engineer

Knowledge of power distribution, power generation, controls, lighting and related electrical systems, particularly in water/wastewater applications

Ability to evaluate, select, specify, and review shop drawings for electrical systems and products

Experience in developing designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats

Proficiency in preparing and revising documentation in various phases of design and construction, including plans, single line diagrams, ladder control schematics, equipment layouts and details

Experience attending project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors

Participation in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating

Experience conducting reviews required to assess field conditions
