Product Manager II, YouTube Fan Engagement

Responsibilities
Define the goal, road map, and success metrics for Posts features, contributing to the direction and road map for expanding Posts content on YouTube
Understand viewer and fan needs, translating insights into engaging product experiences
Conceptualize and build tools leveraging technology (including generative AI) to empower fan participation and drive engagement
Collaborate with engineering, design, and research teams to bring the product goals to life
Utilize data-driven decision-making to measure performance, identify improvement areas, and iterate on the product experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in consumer product management
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc)
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), data science, and other stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with A/B testing and user research methodologies
Experience with creator-focused products or content sharing platforms
Experience using data to inform product decisions, along with excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate user needs and business objectives into detailed product specifications and road maps
Ability to work with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and data science
Passion for YouTube and an understanding of the platform's ecosystem, creators, and viewers
