Responsibilities

Lead multi-discipline and complex wastewater design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases, including alternative delivery projects
Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects
Develop and mentor mid-level and junior staff
Have decision-making authority and direct others in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such
Deliver revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business
Lead business development activities, including pursuing new clients and projects and serving as leader of proposal efforts
Actively participate in wastewater organizations like NEWEA and WEF through presentations at conferences and volunteering

Required

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 8 years of related experience in wastewater treatment, pumping and collection systems
Registered Professional Engineer
Demonstrated knowledge wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection systems and client/consultant relations experience
Willingness and ability to travel within New England

Preferred

12 years of related experience in wastewater consulting and engineering management
Registered Professional Engineer licensed in one of the New England states and capable of obtaining a license in Massachusetts and Connecticut within 9 months of employment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Participation in water community activities including Water Environment Federation and New England Water Environment Association
Proven ability to lead business development activities
Proven leader with an interest in developing and mentoring team members and demonstrated ability to successfully work in diverse teams
