Technical Assembly & Production Intern
Aerolase is a high-power medical laser manufacturing company seeking a hands-on intern to assist in the production and engineering teams. The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly work for high-power laser systems, with a strong focus on improving production throughput and quality.

Responsibilities
Mechano-electrical sub-assembly work for high-power laser systems
Mechanical assembly, fastening, soldering (if trained), cable routing, and component prep
Potential progression to full laser core assembly under supervision
Supporting throughput improvements by streamlining assembly steps
Performing secondary energy tests on completed laser systems (if trained)
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
Helping track parts, components, and build progress
Qualification
Required
Organized, careful, and detail-oriented
Strong interest in production, assembly, electronics, or hardware systems
Comfortable working with your hands and following structured processes
Enthusiastic about learning how medical devices are built
Preferred
Hands-on experience using tools (screwdrivers, pliers, soldering tools, multimeters, etc.)
Experience working around electrical systems, even informally (home projects, hobby electronics, robotics, repairing gadgets, etc.)
Prior exposure to assembling toys, machines, electronics, or anything mechanical
Coursework or degree in Engineering, especially Electrical Engineering or related fields (Mechanical, Mechatronics, etc.)
