Mid LevelPortfolio BI is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer - Dedicated Onsite to support, maintain, and optimize their cloud infrastructure. The role involves providing onsite support and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure reliable cloud operations and effective incident management.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Onsite support desktop and infrastructure services for onsite users
Provide support for cloud systems, platforms, and deployed applications
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using cloud-native and third-party tools
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services
Perform routine operational tasks such as snapshots, backups, patching, and scheduled maintenance
Respond to and resolve escalated alerts and tickets within SLA
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with Level 3 and engineering teams for complex problem resolution
Adhere to strict change control procedures
Support deployment activities including configuration changes, updates, and rollout of new cloud resources
Contribute to automation and scripting of operational processes using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines as
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with cloud services
Experience with monitoring tools
Incident response experience
Knowledge of operational best practices
Experience providing onsite support for desktop and infrastructure services
Support for cloud systems, platforms, and deployed applications
Ability to monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using cloud-native and third-party tools
Troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to compute, storage, networking, identity, and security services
