Responsibilities

Observe machine operations to detect any problems, making necessary adjustments to correct problems
Move machine controls to index work pieces, and to adjust machines for pre-selected operational settings
Study blueprints, work orders, or machining instructions to determine product specifications, tool requirements, and operational sequences
Inspect or measure finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as gauges or micrometers
Record or verify operational or production data including verifying that pan tags match the router information

Required

2-4 years related experience of related experience desired
HS diploma or equivalent or equivalent combination of experience/education
Intermediate knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods as well CNC and Centerless Grinding equipment
A candidate must have a desire to continually learn and develop technical skills
Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, document management, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology to include Microsoft Office products
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, and ladders
Must be able to work at heights utilizing fall protection equipment (man lifts, ladders, and stand)
Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
Subject to environmental conditions -protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
Subject to hazards to include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals
Subject to loud constant noise
Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
