Client Service Representative - Front Desk/Cancer Center

As a Client Service Representative, you will support the emergency department by managing client communication, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure a welcoming experience for clients.

Responsibilities
Greet clients by phone or in person with warmth and professionalism
Schedule appointments and provide accurate follow-up communication
Coordinate medication refills and liaise with clinical teams for timely updates
Assist with billing, payments, and insurance questions
Update patient records, manage data entry, and ensure accurate client information
Answer a high volume of calls with a calm, helpful, and solutions-focused approach
Support both front desk and back-office administrative workflows
Provide compassionate support to pet owners during sensitive conversations
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confidence handling a multi-line phone system and scheduling software
Comfort interacting with pet owners and veterinary professionals
Strong multitasking and attention to detail
A calm, compassionate demeanor, especially during emotional client moments
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
Familiarity with Cornerstone, or similar systems (a plus!)
