Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with aerospace clients, understanding their technical needs and providing tailored manufacturing solutions
Lead project scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of engineering projects and sales proposals
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance continuous improvement initiatives
Perform process engineering within AS9100 standards
Collaborate with manufacturing teams on factory experience improvements, industrial engineering projects, and factory layout planning
Support the development of mechanical knowledge across teams through training on machining techniques, and tooling processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field or commensurate experience in aerospace manufacturing
Extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing environments with a focus on process engineering and factory operations
Proven expertise in project scheduling, root cause analysis, GD&T standards, and industrial equipment operation
CNC programming expedience a plus
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, ISO 9001 standards, vision inspection systems and CNC machining
Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in industrial engineering practices within a manufacturing facility setting
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems using tools such as CAD software and Schematics
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with sales teams and clients to deliver innovative aerospace solutions
