Responsibilities
Own and grow a portfolio of biotech and biopharma accounts within an assigned region
Develop and execute a regional account strategy to meet and exceed annual revenue targets
Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, managing relationships across multiple R&D stakeholders
Sell and position complex NGS / genomics services (services experience preferred; product backgrounds also considered)
Follow up on marketing-generated leads and convert opportunities into long-term customers
Expand existing accounts while also onboarding and developing emerging biotech and SME clients
Attend national and regional conferences to build pipeline and strengthen industry presence
Collaborate closely with internal scientific, technical, and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM systems
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in industry sales or account management within life sciences
Demonstrated ability to close, grow, and expand accounts
Comfortable managing large, complex projects and long sales cycles
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-directed, organised, and capable of owning a regional territory independently
Preferred
Background in NGS, genomics, molecular biology, or related services strongly preferred
Existing regional biotech / biopharma network is highly advantageous
Services experience preferred; product backgrounds also considered
